Rather than a molded or faux book base, these are actual books with naturally worn covers, aged pages and years of character. Combined with the patinated brass-tone hardware, the result is a distinctive piece for a home library, reading nook, office, study or eclectic vintage-inspired interior. The books show substantial age-related character, including worn covers and edges, discoloration, scuffs, aged pages and other imperfections. The brass-tone hardware has naturally aged patina. The underside has a rustic/unfinished appearance consistent with the lamp’s handmade construction.
